Yes, that functionality is available in pro license

How do i add connections/passwords to my source and destination?

You can add them in connection_properties.json file in root folder. For details see connection_properties page

What is the role for global_config.json ?

There are ceratin global properties you can apply to your whole project. See global_properties.json page for detailed analysis

In future we plan to support core python/pandas in addition to spark. As we release library can be switched
